For additional advanced runs skip the tram and take the 600-foot tunnel through the mountain to Mineral Basin. If black and double black diamonds are not your thing, no worries. Snowbird has four high-speed detachable quads and six doubles to access beginner and additional intermediate runs. With 2,500 skiable acres, 27% being beginner, 38% intermediate, and 35% advanced/expert Snowbird is sure to have something to please everyone.
Ski Snowbird and Alta
The expansion into spectacular Mineral Basin added more intermediate terrain to Snowbird and created a lift served connection to neighboring Alta Ski Area . Both resorts can now be skied using a combined "dual-resort ticket", providing access to the USA's second largest skiable terrain.
