Fawn Grove #5 was perfect for our group. We have always rented a home and driven a car. This time we took the free shuttle. It was great! We even took the shuttle back to the condo for lunch while skiing at Deer Valley. We had one family upstairs, Grandma on the main level, and one family downstairs. We each had our own space and loved gathering together in the living room. Grandma loved sitting on the couch reading and gazing our at the amazing view of Deer Valley. The kids loved the downstairs family room - and that adults loved that they played down there. The view from the hot tub is unsurpassed. Great trip all around!
The Penthouse at Bear Hollow 1 is an excellent location to both ski resorts. It's also nearby to Whole Foods and great restaurants. The condo itself is fabulous! Terrific heated garage parking, three beautiful rooms, all with tvs and luxurious beds, comfortable seating in main area with yet another nice tv, small balcony to play in the snow and look around the quiet, peaceful area, perfect kitchen with barstool area and spacious dining table... And best part is the service. If anything isn't working perfectly, the staff is on it and takes care of any problem immediately. Highly recommend this beautiful condo. Our family wishes it were ours!
Week went fine and we found KH2 to be quite adequate. Suggestions- previous year our condo had flyers for local restaurants, we found this very helpful. Also, complementary lip-baum from UVH was a nice touch.
This condo was absolutely perfect! It's within a half mile to the grocery store and ski rental place, and with a bus stop right out front, you never need to rent a car. The ski buses to Solitude/Brighton and alta/Snowbird stop right out front, and from there it's an easy 25 minutes to the slopes. As far as the condo is concerned, it's outfitted with high class furniture and decor. Easily sleeps 10, and the kitchen is marvelous! Our only problem with the whole trip was when the hot tub produced an error code, and stopped filtering and producing hot water. By the end of the trip, it was cesspool of lukewarm brown liquid. It was also out of chlorine when we arrived. With just a little more care taken in hot tub maintenance, I would have given this a 5 rating. Very good overall.
The place needs some good maintenance! The sink in the one bathroom did not drain well when we got there. There was a light in the kitchen that did not work, as well as a few other small items. It is a decent place, just needs a little TLC.
We found Red Pine O6 to be exactly what we needed & wanted. It was close to the slopes and met our expectations with regard to space & furnishings. The clubhouse is right across the street and it has wonderful facilities which we enjoyed just about every evening. We found it to be comfortable and perfect for eating in both breakfast & dinner which really saves some money if that matters. We had planned to eat out much more, but didn't feel it necessary as the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pans, supplies, etc. I would definitely recommend this condo to my friends.
I have written a review about the house in vrbo. It was great. I want to say that Utah Vacation Homes is one of the most professional and competent rental managers I have encountered. They handled everything extremely well. There were no foulups and whenever I needed anything, it was done immediately. I offer my sincere thanks to the entire crew. Jim Pike

We loved the property. It was perfect for our family. You never know when you book online how it will turn out. We were very happy the property and would return if we make it back to Utah.
Felt like home-away from home. Perfect for our soccer boys and had everything we needed to prepare meals. We even cooked hamburgers on the community patio while the boys enjoyed the pool. Area was close to everything we needed to enjoy our soccer tournament and the Olympic Park in between. The bed was amazing! The mattress was comfortable and the bathroom had plenty of space. Our three boys enjoyed the bunk bed room and their private television where they watched the olympics. Thanks for the perfect way to get-away.
The pros- the location is ideal for a ski vacation if you want to be able to chose which resort you want to ski each day. Condo is in a quiet neighborhood with close access to several good restaurants, good groceries and The Lift House for your discounted lift tickets. The cons - the condo is a bit tired, furniture needs to be cleaned, some windows cannot be opened, mini-blind wands broken off. The coffee maker didn't work but there was an extra machine without a carafe so we were able to hobble things together to sort-of make coffee each morning. Probably my biggest complaint was that the beds had cheap, old mattresses that squealed and complained every time either my husband or I moved - a good night's sleep evaded me the first two nights of our visit.
We had a short time for a family vacation this year, but wanted something that would feel peaceful, relaxing, and entertain the kids. We choose the mountains of Park City to accommodate a married daughter leaving in Utah, so we could all be together. We had a most enjoyable and beautiful extended week-end. We used the outdoor pool, BBQ, and vollyball available at the Clubhouse. We explored Park City with its many summer attractions. We played games and enjoyed an afternoon nap at the condo. We even watched an amazing lightning storm one night. Overall it was a great experience. The only negative thing would be that the unit had not been occupied for sometime, and when using the water for the first day or two it had a terrible smell of rotten eggs, or worse that came from the pipes. The smell did eventually clear and was forgotten. Overall we had an awesome time and didn't want to leave the beautiful scenery.
This place is fantastic and the owner is the nicest guy you'll ever meet. The pipes froze right before we arrived and the owner had setup a fix within hours.

Very Happy w/our experience w Utah Vacation homes. Nice condo good location ,plenty of room Thank You for everything.
The unit we stayed in was great. It was nicely decorated and clean. We had a total of 6 people in our unit and it was comfortable. It was nice to have the underground parking garage that also had a storage unit for our ski/snowboard gear. Conviently close to every necessity, expressway, shopping, and skiing/snowboarding. Would stay again.
The Upside: initial rental procedure was easy and pain free. Directions and access to the house were giving in a timely manner making just showing up to the house and getting in late at night easy. The Downside: The house overall was okay, however the cleanliness of the house was less than stellar. Dirty cups and glasses, broken countertop peeling away, coffee maker that leaks all over, gross dirty towels left in the washing machine, some sort of nasty splatter stain and mildew on the ceiling of the upstairs bathrooms. Also the hot water never really got warm so it was cold showers for everyone.
My son, brother in law, and myself had a great ski vacation. The condo was perfect. The only negative part of the trip was Park City Transportation lost my son's ski boots. So he had to rent boots for the week. We tried all three resorts and enjoyed Deer Valley the most. Look forward to next ski vacation.
The Dolan family rented the Bear Trap for a long weekend for the wedding party and friends to stay from out of town. The bride and groom and the groom's parents, Kevin & Lisa Dolan, met with Dan Knopp in the Spring to reserve the Sliver Fork lodge and to reserve the Bear Trap for guest. This is a terrific place to host a weekend of celebration with most comfortable lodging and access to so many activities. The Bear Trap comfortable accommodates 20-25 people with two kitchens, pool table, ping pong, hot tub and fire pit right outside. Also includes wifi, big screen tv with game access and fire places. Dan Knopp and his crew were most helpful over the entire weekend for any questions or assistance with appliances, ice access, or virtually anything else. We would highly recommend the Bear Trap to any group for any season - what a great place for the ski season!
Adrienne C., Montana
There wasn't a gas barbeque when we got there, but a new one was delivered the next morning - so that was great. The location was great for us. Our son trains at the UOP once a summer and this is by far the best place we stayed. Thanks.
Great Utah Vacation! We had so much fun and the accommodations were perfect. Thanks for a great trip.
We were informed that the house was ready even before we boarded our flight from home. We were only a party of 6 and a toddler so we had more than enough room. It was much nicer than the pictures on line. Those pics need to be changed! - the tv was flat screen and there was wireless internet. Love the breakfast table/area + dinning area - would come in very handy for larger parties. More than enough towels, kitchen equipment, dishes, extra beddings... This vacation home was definitely better than the one I visited in Florida because these people provided all we needed so all we had to buy was our food. Very good value for money too! Only issue was that there was no broom and iron provided. Need those! However as soon as we called they provided a vacuum cleaner (still need a broom though) and iron - impressive service!

You all did a great job highly recommend your services to all I know.
We enjoyed the stay. On the great idea side: dishwasher soap provided, laundry soap provided, trash bags provided These may seem like little things to provide, but it said to me that you were courteous in having these products there. It was nice to have these things because they are necessary and are expensive to buy in smaller amounts. As a woman, I loved the cute way of folding the towels. Also, liked that there were plenty of towels. Liked having plenty of dining room chairs. We took chairs from smaller area and added to larger table so we could all eat together. Definitely a plus, and one of the reasons we discarded other condos! Also liked that the area that we gathered in (dining, TV) was large and open to people working in the kitchen. Liked that we could pass food, etc over the kitchen counter and not have to walk around carrying everything. I.E. the open area to the table was nice. Problems: Downstairs shower leaked profusely. Had to sop up water almost every shower. Any ideas why? Oven was huge fire risk because the sides of the oven and even the silverware door beside the oven were too hot to touch. Looked like some insulating shield was missing. You could REALLY use some Corningware type dishes for use in the microwave. I didn't find any dish that I thought would be microwave safe so heating up things like spaghetti sauce was hard. Fireplace great idea, but would be nice to have a litte kindling, so we didn't have a fire. Downstairs TV wouldn't come on. Was the battery dead?
We enjoyed our stay in Park City for the Slamdance and Sundance film festivals. Beautiful town! I did have a few complaints about the condo, however: 1: Could not find the outdoor porch light. 2: Key to pool and laundry was not there when we arrived. 3: Teapot on stove was for 2 people, not 9. 4: Condo was advertised as capable of "sleeping up to 9 guests" but there were only 6 chairs in the kitchen. 5: Hole punched in the bathroom door was covered up with a ski sticker. 6: No mattress pad on the downstairs bed. 7: Stiff pillows. 8: Incredibly creaky LOUD floors upstairs; kept the downstairs sleepers awake when anyone upstairs walked around. 9: In-sink food disposal was broken. 10: Shower head fixture in downstairs bath was coming off the wall.

We had a problem with wobbly beds which was resolved very quickly - however the person who made up the beds should have realised this and had it sorted already. Also we were short on bowls which was again solved quickly - but maybe this should have been checked in advance. All in all it was a great place and we would book through you again especially as we know any problems will be sorted quickly. Thanks.
Very good location in between Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons. Good sized rooms. Easy check in procedure. Amenities as advertised. Nice hot tub. Wifi functioned well. Convenient to restaurants, ski shops, grocery stores. Quiet neighborhood. Management responded quickly to a couple of requests. Addition of HDTV would be a nice upgrade.

The bathroom in the master bedroom had weird smells coming out of the drains whenever a shower was taken, but I guess that's just a plumbing issue. Otherwise everything was wonderful! We've been booking with you for 4 years now and will continue to!
The house is very large and was very accomodating to all 8 in our party. The location of the house was excellent, and was very close to the ski bus stop, although it really is more than just a block and a half away, more like a 10 minute walk or so. The kitchen could use some updating, but all in all the place was well worth the price we paid for it.
We had the unique pleasure of staying last Thanksgiving and we have yet to stop talking about how wonderful it was! The Peter A. family would be very grateful if we could stay over Thanksgiving yet again. We hope we left the property as lovely as we found it and with the addition of lots of leftover love. Hope to hear from you soon.

We had a power outage on Thursday of our stay and even though it was an inconvenience for us, I would just like to let you all know that Alex was a great help to us. He was there late into the night when the power company was there and helped us in any way possible to make our stay nice.
Jean R., Poway, CA
We enjoyed our stay, the community was clean, quiet and restful. We look forward to renting the exact same unit next year.
Aaron C., Boise, ID
We all were exceptionally pleased with the cabin overall. Thank you very much for everything. We have already told a lot of other people about it and would recommend it to anyone.

We had a Fabulous Time...The layout of Bear Trap let different groups mingle and not be stepping on each others toes. The kitchen was large enough to accommodate all the food and guests. The evening culminated around the fire pit. What a Wonderful Time! We even think The Bear Trap Lodge OUTSHINED the wedding site. We received Great Reviews from Family and Invited Guests. We could not Thank You More for such a Beautiful place to stay! The day of the Wedding the Bear Trap was perfect size for everyone to shower, dress and eat leftovers. There was even room downstairs for the florist to assemble all the wedding flowers. We really had a Great Time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were too rushed to enjoy the amenities --the Sauna and Hot Tub would have been nice to explore. Maybe on our next extended trip back to Utah we could get the chance to set back and relax and enjoy those extras.

I had worked with a different company prior to working with Utah Vacation Homes, and they kept moving us. I really appreciated the service from your company. When the hot tub wasn't working upon arrival, you sent someone right away. The house was beautiful and we had a great time. I already referred your company to a friend. The only complaint from my guests was regarding the house next door. The house next door is very run down. However, our rental property was excellent. Thank you for the great service and I will be using your company again.
Gary D., Pocatello, ID
We love the unit we stayed in and hope that it will be available next year the same week. Thank you for excellent service. We had a wonderful time.
Paul R., Temecula, CA
We enjoyed our stay in PC. The UVH staff was extremely helpful in assisting with an issue related to an exterior paint contractor...(Mindy) went out of her way to assist and make the situation better.
Patrick K., New Kensington, PA
Thank you for all your wonderful hospitality and one on one interaction. Our small group of guys has been renting a home from your company for the past 3 years. We would not even think of renting from anyone else. Keep up the good work. Its service like yours that will keep customers like us coming back year after year.
Tara B., Franklin, MA
We were very pleased with the condo we stayed in. We only had one problem with the hot tub and we placed a phone call and received help immediately. Everything was great...we would definitely stay here again and recommend this location to others. Tara B. - Franklin, MA

Dear Sir or Madam: I wanted to take the opportunity to thank and praise Utah Vacation Homes for the wonderful experience we received on our vacation this winter. I have taken an annual ski trip (going on 7 years) with friends, and spent our first winter in Utah. We thoroughly enjoyed the mountains and skiing, the snow was unlike anything we have ever experienced before. It was truly wonderful. What made this trip even more special was the home we had rented. . . . The home was beautiful, with great views and nice amenities. The homeowners have done a great job decorating and making the home feel comfortable. And Utah Vacation Homes provided great directions to the home from the airport as well as very informative instructions once we arrived. We didn't have to worry about anything. I truly believe that your company is what helped make our vacation the best yet. We will be coming back to Utah for the next couple of years to cover all the terrain we couldn't possibly get in one week. I look forward to renting from you again. We hope to bring a larger group next year and wont be looking at the same location but would definitely go back if some others didn't come along.
Stephen G., Barbados
We had a great time, the accommodation and booking service was excellent. The necessary maintenance was easy to arrange through UVH and was dealt with in a prompt, professional and pleasant manner.
